Our “Just Play” demo/picnic event

Site: Laurel Creek Conservation Area The Critter Shelter
Site hours: 11am – 8pm

Come and picnic, gear up, play games (board, badminton…), work on that

project just picked up at Pennsic, or go for a swim at the nearby sand-
beach! Bring family and friends to introduce our favourite hobby!

Conservation Area Gate Fees:

$5.50 15-64,

$4.75 better than 65

$2.75 6-14 years of age,

free 5 and under

Site is strictly DRY (Site rules) Bring a lunch, and stay for a potluck feast!

Please have your Loonies and Toonies ready as we “pass the hat” to pay for

the shelter costs (We recommend $4 for anybody over 14)

Site notes: Amenities include water, hydro, flush toilets, and surrounding

green spaces. Presences most welcome – show off to the general public

wandering the park!

Directions:  Go to Bonfield, Ontario via Hwy. 17 and Hwy. 531. Cross the railway tracks into the village. Bear right onto Railway Street . At Boisvert St. turn left, at Yonge/Gagnon turn right. Once in the village, find the church. Follow Yonge/Gagnon S to the four-way stop. This is Development Road. Turn left and follow Development Rd. E for 1 km. to #364. Turn right into the driveway. You are here! Bonfield, Ont., is about 30 km. east of North Bay off Hwy. 17. Google Maps or MapQuest will help you.

Armored fighters age 16-17 are permitted to participate (and apply site discount) if their HOME Kingdom allows General Armoured Combat at age 16 AND they comply with existing rules for Minors attending Middle Kingdom events – see website for specific details/paperwork requirements.
There will not be any boffer or Youth Rattan combat.

***Site space is limited, therefore there will not be any areas available for day camps or any other SCA activities. ***

Site fees:

Adults 18+ and general Armoured Combat Youths: $15 (+$5 NMS) **
Youth 6-17: $8
Children under 5: Free
Please see supervision rules listed at the website. For everyone’s safety, they will be strictly enforced.

**$10 discount for anyone showing their ACTIVE/CURRENT SCA general Armoured Combat authorization card.
(those authorized on the day will get $10 refund)
