This was an interesting hike - relatively easy and short with views of the Golden Ears peaks. People seem to hike this trail part way, and then pick a spot by the river to camp and enjoy the water.
At the end of the trip you'll see the falls and when you climb a bit higher you'll see the falls from above. Of course people climb over or go around the fence to sit on the rocks.
This is a short hike to the north beach on the lake. It was choked with people, dogs and beer when we were there on the weekend. We'd suggest going there when the kids are not around!
