Moraine Lake (Alberta) Vacation Pictures

Moraine Lake is a very beautiful lake and the best thing is that there are nowhere near as many people visiting this lake as compared to Lake Lousise.
You can rent canoes and paddle on the lake for a better price than Lake Louise. Yes the water is this blue. The fine rock powder from the glacier run-off gives the water a very electric blue color. As the fine powder settles the water turns a darker blue. Spring fed lakes will be a dark blue for that reason.
There is also a hiking trail from here to Lake Louise!
