Mt. Revelstoke Nat'l Park (BC, Canada) Vacation Pictures

People are not allowed to drive all the way up Mt. Revelstoke. About 3 km from the top is a parking lot and a bus service takes you upto the top. Keep in mind that the bus does not run very late and you may have to walk back down.

Here is one of the viewpoints as you drive up Mt. Revelstoke.

Hiking at the top you'll see the following:

The hike to Upper and Lower Jade lake will give you some excellent views; but this is a hard hike. You have to hike upto the mountain pass; then down to the lakes; and back up to get back out! This was one of my hardest days with about 800m of climbing in 23km of walking. I did not see any trails going to lower Jade lake; but if you want to go there it is not trivial.
The 2nd picture is view over Upper Jade Lake looking back at the mountain pass.

At Mt. Revelstoke there are many hikes in sub-alpine meadows. Here is a picture of what it is like.
