A campsite just north of Squamish

At this point I hated the reservation system. Some motor-home people had left a dish and table cloth on the table and that was their sign that they had "reserved" the site. I came in an hour before dark with no options and setup camp. After dark another group of people were looking for a place (I had already paid for the site) and invited them to stay with me since there was plenty of space. Then the monster-home people came back, and even though there was space, the took great offense to our "stealing" their site!

Saltery Bay Prov. Park


I met, and camped with, a pair of cyclists I met. This part of my journey was a race from one ferry dock to the next in order to get to this park by nightfall.
