California Coast Vacation Pictures - Bay Area

These pictures were taken as I was flying to San Francisco.

This is south of the Bay area; returning from Yosemite NP

This picture was taking cycling from SF out to Halfmoon Bay. I had just cycled thru the valley with the cloud hanging in it. It felt like a light rain and everything was just getting soaked. When I climbed the hills on the other side I looked back to this view.

These shots are taken from places between Mountainview and Pismo beach.

The climb from the San Francisco airport to Skyline / Mountainview and down to the coast.. I met some mountain bikers and joined them that afternoon and ended up staying with a fellow Canadian who had moved to California.

I had trouble finding camping sites and later on discovered that the maps which I bought were terrible for cycling. They had many flaws on smaller roads that a cyclist would take.

At this point I'd been dropped off at Pismo beach and started the bike ride back up to San Francisco.
