Germany 1993 Cycling Trip

For this cycling trip my friend, Brent, and I flew into Munich. We did not plan to stay very long in Germany because our goal was to spend as much time in the Alps and Dolomite mountains as possible. The trip was not planned very much - we had our bicycles and could always take the train when necessary.

In hindsight, having to change currency every few days was maddening. I'm glad that Europe has finally adoped the Euro.

On this first day of cycling; we had been away for around 30 hours when we finally put onto German soil. As a result the day was spent in a daze; cycling like mad for Austria. I really should have taken more pictures. All pictures are scans of slides.

Here is the place that we stayed the first night. After having been up for over 32 hours straight were easily fell to sleep and didn't suffer from jeg-lag. The place had a nice garden in the back.
