Hveragerði, Iceland
This area is active with geothermal activity. The geothermaly heated water
is used for greenhouses in the area making it possible to grow tomatoes
and cucumbers year round.

Þingvellir, Iceland.
One of the worlds first republican governments was founded here in 930.
It lasted untill 1262 when Iceland lost its independence to Norway and
later to Denmark. Þingvellir is sacred to every icelandic person
and filled with historical places.
