Stokes Bay - Unknown Beach

This was the first beach we found. We don't know if it's public or private or what. There were several other people there; no toilets; no signs. The water was shallow and warm and the beach sandy.

Stokes Bay - Black Creek Prov. Park Beach

This place was hard to find; a local pointed us to it. The beach was nice; the water was warm and there was a mix of rock and sand. The kids liked walking in the shallow rocky parts - although some rocks were slippery.

Tobermory National Park Tower View

Pay your park fee and climb up the tower for a nice view. They have a new and quite nice visiter center that is quite good for young kids.

Dorcas Bay - Singing Sands Beach

This is an amazing beach if you like things shallow. The air was cool (21C) and windy but the water was warm. Young kids have a hard time finding water as deep as their waist. The sand is soft and easy to dig in. Our only complaint is the long walk from the parking lot to the shoar.
Some people even camped out on a sandbar.
