Water levels were low when these pictures were taken - but a day later the water was a fair bit higher.
This was a nice trip which involved a bit of canoeing along the river, some hiking, watching animals and an old steam train go up and down the western side of the river.
The train goes up to the town of Wakefield where you can see it up close.
