This is a nice little park that has canoe rentals and a limited / safe area to canoe. There is beach for swimming and some hiking along the water way. Unfortunately my digital camera corrupted it's memory card again - so I lost pretty well all of the pictures from the June 2004 hike.
At this point we had finished canoeing and let the kids play on the beach while I did a short hike along the river.
Here is one of the viewpoints on top of the "cliff" that you'll have to climb just past the canoe rental stand.
