1. Take a short drive and a long walk. I highly suggest doing this!
2. Take a long drive and a short walk - to get a rather distant view of the arch. I did this and I would not recommend it. The close-up picture was taken with a 200 mm lens and the size of the arch is evident given how small the people are.

The erosion of the rock is very interesting. Water cuts slots between rocks and in some places you have fingers of rock. Here is one such place when seen from different angles:
