Eric Praetzel Vacation Pictures - Ernst Tijana - Big Bend NP

 It is a rough and sometimes bumpy ride to get out to this water hole. The hike is short once you are at the campsite / trail head. The surrounding rock is quite pretty because of the layering and how it is sloped relative to the horizon.
With a 28mm lens I was not able to really capture what this place looked like. The Tijana is a well or deep depression in the rock that holds water. In this case there is one big deep one and several small ones after it.
