Yes, there are hot springs along the Rio Grande. The hike to them is trivial; the drive is more interesting.
The hot springs are an excellent place to visit if you are in the eastern side of the park. The water is comfortably warm and right beside the Rio Grande. You can walk thru the river into Mexico if you like.
The Springs are a refreshing bath for anyone who is spending > 4 days in this park! The best part is that when you come out of the hot springs the desert air will seem cool.
