This trail goes out to an overlook of the desert to the north. It is marred by the view of
a water tower in the desert!
Part way out you will see another trail going to the lookout; a point higher up the mountain.
This is deceptive since that trail doesn't quite end! The trail takes you higher to some
wonderfull view points but then the trail continues down to the desert floor. You can see the
switchbacks below.
