Ernie's explanation of the calls is straightforward and easy to follow thus enabling new dancers to learn quickly and easily. Ernie Shoebridge has brought out a great book titled 'Olde Tyme Country Square Dance Calls - Book 1". I purchased my copy a couple of weeks ago and immediately read it through in detail. He includes an excellent glossary of terms and definitions and I particularly like the way he has provided instructions for each of the dances. Readers will have no problem understanding how each dance goes. As he says on the cover it is for dancers and callers. Looking forward to Book 2.
