It's the end of the season and grass has overtaken a few plots. It was a good year for corn. But the Jeruseum articokes are small and as of Sept 21'st it's been almost 4 weeks without any rain.
The year was marked with a few cases of theft from the garden - taking 1/2 of a particular crop from particular gardens.
For the first time in many years squash vine borers were not a problem. Potatoes did not grow well - perhaps 3x as much as was planted and they tended to be small with rough skin that can't be cleaned. A wheat crop was a total failure due to rust.
